| Mahatma Gandhi. Libra Sun/Leo Moon |
Mahatma Gandhi, that arch-Libran, said there were seven social sins
Politics without principles
Wealth without work,
Pleasure without conscience,
Knowledge without character,
Commerce without morality,
Science without humanity
Worship without sacrifice.
There is no better summary of the Libran aspiration for a life of balance and harmony.
At the end of last week, there was a truly dynamic New Moon smack in the middle of the sign of balance (14°). The power of that new moon is still in force for another week and a half. Have a look at your chart and see which house this falls in. That is the area of life where you should be starting something new. Think about dealmaking, persuasive argument, partnership and Gandhi's seven social sins.
Can you make it relevant?

Just recently discovered your blog and wanted to thank you for the freshness and originality it brings to the subject of astrology.
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for reading.
ReplyDeleteGiven our current situation particularly in the realms of politics and commerce, Gandhi's words are incredibly relevant to all of us.
ReplyDeleteIt's easy to accuse others "Wealth without work" ha, but once you start thinking about yourself in relation to these ideas it can be trickier. Pleasure without conscience is the one where I trip up I think. Nothing to serious perhaps, but on a very mundane level I wonder about some of the pappy TV I consume, the trash I read, and the clothes I wear. It's completely relevant to the consumerism that consumes us.
