The redesign seems exciting, but I feel that it makes the flow 'too busy' visually. But on the plus side, it makes the blog come 'alive', as if it's moving (like the gadgets on the sidebar moving in and out when you hover over with the mouse). Still the message is what is important!
Thanks for the feedback. I am still fiddling around - although it is within the constraints of blogger. You can view it with less whizz, if you choose Classic from the drop-down menu on the left. I am still having trouble accessing certain elements of the blog, including my search tool. The one up there seems only to search the top page.
I'll try that. I'm sure with time, all this will fall into place. In the meantime, good luck and good blogging! I'm really happy I found your blog. It's inspirational and it has lovely pictures! :-)
I stumbled across this format with my blog, and stayed with it for a while, but went back to the old format for a time after somebody on another blog said some browsers had difficulties with it. ?? I like the look of 'dynamic views' and might go back to it as I do think it makes the blog look more interesting. I really liked how a dragon image I'd posted on one post sort of emerged.
Strangely, the gadgets seem to be trickling back in a random sort of way. I shall wait and see before doing anything more drastic

ReplyDeleteI didn't like it at first, but once you start fiddling around (Hey, Venus in Gemini lurves to fiddle, right, right?) you can customize! So neat.
ReplyDeleteDid you do this yourself? In which case, I am bowing down to you.
Oh no - I'm not techy at all. It's blogger's new thingie
